Literature Text

Count down
The days for
The ones who
Died

Sigh in sadness,
Looking down
Upon your feet

Meet the parents
Who carry a burdened
Loss

Toss the
Tears from
Your face

Race to
The scene,
A fearful
Look upon
Your face

Don't fall
Down, for
There's someone
Else who needs
You now

Cover your
Mouth with
Both hands,
Bend back
In shock

Send an
Email that'll
Rip a heart
Apart

Watch that
Plane fly
Into one,
An explosion
Becoming

See the
Towers
Falling down,
One after the
Other

Bury that
Black casket
In the ground,
Tears falling
Down

Welcoming
The face of
Death

Cry your
Eyes out
As you
Watch
Your little
Girl die

Find someone
To hug, to cry
On one's shoulder

Smoke rising
From the
Reboils, croke
with tears

Lay her favorite
Teddy bear at
The sight, promising
To remember her
Forever

The slight change
In wind threatens
To blow out the flame,
But it stands tall

It stands tall
To remember
The ones who
Died that day

To say "I'm
Sorry for what
Happened to you,"
Isn't enough
For anyone
Of use

Enough would
Be to have our
Children, husbands, wifes,
Boyfriends, girlfriends
And friends back

But we lack
In the power
To rise dead
From the grave

This flame's
Still there,
Representing
The unbreakable
Loss we endered
That September
Day

I count down
The days to
September 11th,
A tear down
my face
I atchully started crying when I wrote this, I know it's really sad. But I needed to get my feelings out about 9/11. This poem is dedacated to all the people who loss their lives or people they love that day, I hope it turned out okay. :(
